1. Introduction
At Mutual Divorce Online, we are committed to providing transparent and professional legal facilitation services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are processed for our services. By engaging our services and making a payment, you ("the Client") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this policy.
2. General Terms
All payments made to Mutual Divorce Online are for the facilitation of legal services, which include professional consultation, document drafting, administrative work, and liaison with partner advocates. These services commence immediately upon receipt of payment. Therefore, our refund policy is strictly defined as below.
3. Refund Policy for Mutual Divorce (Non-NRI)
The fee for our Mutual Divorce service is structured in four steps. The refund eligibility is as follows:
-
Step 1 (₹999) & Step 2 (₹9,000): These payments are strictly non-refundable. The ₹999 payment covers the cost of initial application review, administrative processing, and case initiation upon form submission. The ₹9,000 payment is allocated towards the meticulous preparation of documentation, drafting of settlement terms, and the creation of the court petition. This work begins immediately upon receipt of payment and constitutes the majority of the preparatory legal work.
-
Step 3 (₹10,000):
A 50% refund of the individual payment (i.e. ₹5,000 for Step 3 or ₹10,000 for Step 4) may be considered only if all the following conditions are met:
- Neither party (husband or wife) has signed the Mutual Divorce Petition, and
- A refund request is submitted via email to support@mutualdivorceonline.com, and
- The request is made within 30 (thirty) calendar days of making the payment.
4. Refund Policy for NRI Mutual Divorce
The fee for our NRI Mutual Divorce service is structured in four steps. The refund eligibility is as follows:
-
Step 1 (₹999) & Step 2 (₹19,000): These payments are strictly non-refundable. The ₹999 payment covers initial consultation and NRI-specific case initiation. The ₹19,000 payment is allocated for the more complex documentation, settlement drafting, and petition preparation required for NRI cases, which begins immediately upon payment.
-
Step 3 (₹30,000) & Step 4 (₹30,000):
A 50% refund of the individual payment (i.e. ₹15,000) may be considered only if all the following conditions are met:
- Neither party (husband or wife) has signed the Mutual Divorce Petition, and
- A refund request is submitted via email to support@mutualdivorceonline.com, and
- The request is made within 30 (thirty) calendar days of making the payment.
5. Refund Policy for Legal Notice
The entire fee of ₹5,000 for the Legal Notice service is strictly non-refundable. This is because the service involves immediate professional work including reviewing your information, legal research, and drafting a customized, legally sound notice tailored to your specific demands. This work is completed and delivered to you promptly upon payment.
6. Process for Requesting a Refund
To be eligible for a refund under the clauses specified in sections 3 and 4, the Client must:
