Fee Structure for Mutual Divorce (Non-NRI)
- Step 1 (₹999): First payment to take the initial legal step toward mutual divorce by submitting our divorce form.
- Step 2 (₹9,000): Second payment to cover documentation, settlement terms, and petition drafting.
- Step 3 (₹15,000): Third payment for filing the case in court and attending the first hearing (1st Motion).
- Step 4 (₹15,000): Final payment for the second motion hearing and divorce decree.

- Step 2 (₹19,000): Second payment to cover complex documentation, settlement terms, and petition drafting.
- Step 3 (₹30,000): Third payment for filing the case in court and attending the first hearing (1st Motion).
- Step 4 (₹30,000): Final payment for the second motion hearing and divorce decree.
Payment Terms
Validity of Payments
Any payment made is valid for 6 months to complete the specific task for which it was paid. This means:
- If the form is filled today, confirmation of both spouses must be received within 6 months.
- If the second payment is made, the mutual divorce petition must be finalized within 6 months.
- If the third payment is made, the mutual divorce case must be filed within 6 months.
- If the fourth payment is made, the final hearing must be completed within 6 months.
Once the validity period of a payment has expired, that payment must be made again in full to proceed.

- Introduction — At Mutual Divorce Online, we provide transparent and professional legal facilitation services, including professional consultation, document drafting, administrative work, and liaison with partner advocates. These services begin immediately upon receipt of payment.
- Non-Refundable Form Fee (Step 1 — ₹999) — Once the form has been successfully submitted and our official legal email has been sent to both spouses, the ₹999 fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. Reasons such as a change of mind, one spouse failing to respond, or personal disagreements do not qualify for a refund.
- Refund Policy for Step 2 (Petition Drafting) — Payments made for Step 2 (₹9,000 for Non-NRI / ₹19,000 for NRI) are strictly non-refundable as drafting and preparatory legal work begin immediately.

Refund Policy for Steps 3 & 4 (Court Filings and Hearings) — A 50% refund of an individual payment for Step 3 or Step 4 may be considered only if all the following conditions are met:
- Neither party (husband or wife) has signed the mutual divorce petition.
- A refund request is submitted via email to support@mutualdivorceonline.com.
- The request is made within 30 calendar days of making the payment, and the 6-month validity period has not expired.
Please note: if a refund for Step 3 or Step 4 has been requested and processed, and you choose to approach us again later to resume services, the complete payment for that step will be charged.
- Refund Policy for Legal Notice — The entire fee of ₹5,000 for the Legal Notice service is strictly non-refundable, as it involves immediate legal research and customized drafting tailored to your specific demands.
- Process for Requesting a Refund — To request an eligible refund, send a clear email to support@mutualdivorceonline.com containing your full name, Form ID, and transaction details. All requests are subject to verification and approval by our accounts team.
